Terror: Artists Respond marks the ten-year anniversary of the attacks on the Twin Towers and explores the range of psychological, social, and global ramifications of living in the age of terrorism. The work of American and Israeli artists includes photography, painting, installation, and objets d'art. The collection entire highlights the disquietude of life lived in the long shadow of terror. Each piece offers a meditative counterpoint to news-ticker journalism’s quick and constant evocation of the last, current or imminent attack.

N, R & D to 36 Street. Walk west under the Gowanus elevated expressway 1.5 block to river.
(You can connect via the 2, 3, 4, 5, B and Q at Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street.)

Car:

From Manhattan - via Battery Tunnel
FDR DR S becomes SOUTH ST. which becomes WEST SIDE HWY
Take the BATTERY TUN exit, EXIT 2, toward I-278 / BROOKLYN.
Merge onto I-478 E (Portions toll).
I-478 E becomes I-278 W / BROOKLYN QUEENS EXPY / GOWANUS EXPY.
Take the 39 ST exit, EXIT 23.
Turn RIGHT onto 2ND AVE. Take the 1st RIGHT onto 37TH ST.
Turn LEFT onto 3RD AVE. Take the 1st LEFT onto 36TH ST.
Continue to 220 36th Street, # 606 (between 2nd and 3rd Avenue), Ground floor.

From Manhattan -  via Manhattan Bridge
MANHATTAN BRIDGE becomes FLATBUSH AVE EXT.
Turn RIGHT onto TILLARY ST.
Take the 1st RIGHT onto JAY ST. Turn RIGHT onto SANDS ST.
Merge onto I-278 W/BROOKLYN QUEENS EXPY toward STATEN LS/VERRAZANO BR.
Take the 39 ST exit, EXIT 23. Turn RIGHT onto 2ND AVE.
Take the 1st RIGHT onto 37TH ST. Turn LEFT onto 3RD AVE.
Take the 1st LEFT onto 36TH ST.
