Bara Sapir, art director of Zeek: A Jewish Journal of Thought and Culture at www.zeek.net is looking for art.
Periodically, Zeek 'hosts' an open call to put together art together for upcoming issues. If you'd like Zeek to consider your art, please send a link to your website. Do not send images. If interested in your work, Zeek will be in touch with you. This is to add to our archive of artists, so if you don't hear from them immediately, it just means that they're busy.
The following is required with submissions.
Email Subject: Zeek Art
Email Adress: director@testprepny.com- a 2-3 sentence bio
- URL (if you have one...two...etc.)
- email address
- phone number
- a note by email that states: that we have permission to use your art online.

Zeek is an award-winning journal that has
retained both its independence and its expansive definition of Jewish
cultural and spiritual life. Contributors range from well-known
rabbis and professors to emerging artists, musicians, and poets. Zeek
values intelligence, independence, courage, and thoughtfulness, and
believes that an articulate Jewish sensibility is one that speaks from
its place of particularity in a much wider conversation. You need not be
Jewish to enter your work, however, they typically look at the connection
between your work, and whatever topics are being discussed.
Published artists (and the respective gallery) will receive exposure in one of the New Jewish Culture's premier publications. Zeek has featured artwork by artists including Louise Bourgeois, Laurie Anderson, Elinor Carucci, Avraham Eilat, Keren Moscovitch, Doron Hanoch, Julie Dermansky, and Allyson Grey.
You're welcome to post this on blogs, forums etc.
