Cynthia Beth Rubin's art & science collaboration

Scientists at the University of Rhode Island’s Graduate School of Oceanography have made the first observation of a predator avoidance behavior by a species of phytoplankton, a microscopic marine plant.  Cynthia Beth Rubin contributed to this article through the enhancement of the image captured under the microscope.  

This is the first phase on an ongoing artist - science collaboration.
